The Pakistani Parliamentary Delegation’s Study Visit to Canada on Parliament and Budgetary Accountability is part of the Parliamentary and Political Party Strengthening Project which is funded through the Glyn Berry Program of Canada’s Department of Foreign and Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT). The project is implemented jointly by the Parliamentary Centre, Canada and PILDAT. The overall goal of the project is to strengthen the role played in Pakistan by parliamentary committees and political party caucuses in the national budget making process, including pre-budget public consultations and citizen engagement.
