The Comparative Analysis and Public Discussion on Local Government Laws 2013 – Feedback & Recommendations presents the views and opinions on eminent parliamentarians and commentators from the civil society on the Comparative Analysis on Local Government Laws 2013, published by PILDAT. The analysis and report on the public discussion are part of an initiative to foster greater understanding of the Local Government frameworks introduced by the four provinces, and for the cantonment boards so as to make constructive contributions to legislative development and to encourage devolution of power in the country. PILDAT has partnered with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in preparing the Comparative Analysis on Local Government Laws 2013, and the publication of the feedback received and recommendations made during the public discussion are a part of this partnership.
