Efforts to curb money laundering and combat terrorist financing have assumed a prominent position in the post 9/11 agendas of various countries. Pakistan which considerably influenced by both the problems is endeavouring to revamp its existing anti-money. This comparative study compares Pakistan’s anti-money laundering legislation with that of the region after a brief introduction of various anti money laundering regimes. The objective behind showcasing a regional comparative study is to facilitate an informed discourse on the issue in the Media, Business Community, Government as well as the Parliament.
