PILDAT organized a briefing and discussion session on “Defence Budget and the Parliament” on June, 17, 2010 in Islamabad. The purpose of the discussion was to assess the role of the parliament in the oversight of the defence sector and provide meaningful suggestions to improve upon the status quo.
