PILDAT turns 20!

September 19; Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development And Transparency – PILDAT has completed two decades of its work in strengthening democracy and democratic institutions today.

Registered on September 19, 2002, PILDAT has made vital contributions to the field of democracy and democratic governance as an independent and non-partisan think tank established by Pakistani citizens. Flagship areas of PILDAT’s work include Parliamentary Development and Monitoring, Assessment of Quality of Democracy, Elections and Electoral Reforms, Inter-Institutional Relations, Political Parties, Assessment of Quality of Governance, Women in Leadership, Youth, Right to Information and Rule of Law.

Assisted by our dedicated and able team, PILDAT is proud to have facilitated various reforms in democratic governance in the past 20 years and would continue to play an earnest role in strengthening democracy in Pakistan in years and decades to come.

As PILDAT board, management and our team celebrate turning 20, we sincerely thank our advisors, partners and stakeholders for their support and cooperation. Here is to many more decades of stellar work to improve democratic governance in Pakistan!
