In order to get expert proposals and views about various aspects of the upcoming Federal Budget 2010-2011 in Pakistan, the National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue held a Pre-Budget Consultation on February 18, 2010 in Islamabad. This is a report of the Consultation compiled by PILDAT for the National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue. The initiative was taken to further improve interaction between the people and the Parliament and to establish the tradition of eliciting public input and ownership of country’s fiscal and financial priorities by the elected representatives.
