The Parliamentary Study Tour of Young Pakistani Members of Parliament to India was undertaken by PILDAT so as to provide an opportunity to Young Pakistani MPs to learn from and share best practices of the legislative and democratic tools that streamline Indian Parliamentary democracy. The study tour was under taken from March 26-31, 2007. Special thanks are due for the close cooperation extended by the Indian High Commission Islamabad and the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in facilitating the process of obtaining visas and of facilitating various official meetings of the delegation in India. PILDAT and the Delegation of Young MPs would also like to thank individuals and organisations that took time out to meet with the Pakistani delegation and discuss various issues of mutual interest. PILDAT would also like to acknowledge the support provided by the British High Commission, Islamabad.
