PILDAT continues to commemorate the martyrdom of the six Youth Parliament Pakistan members

July 28: PILDAT and the Youth Parliament Pakistan Secretariat express their deep sorrow to the families and friends of the 6 members of the 3rd Youth Parliament Pakistan who were martyred in the Air Blue flight 202 crash, 12 years ago on July 28, 2010.

The 6 members are remembered fondly by the PILDAT and Youth Parliament Pakistan as talented and capable leaders. Mr. Hassan Javed Khan (YP39-SINDH02; Blue Party) Youth Prime Minister, Syeda Rabab Zehra Naqvi (YP41-SINDH04; Blue Party) Youth Information Minister, Mr. Prem Chand (YP38-SINDH01; Blue Party) Youth Minister for Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Mr. Bilal Nasir Jamaee (YP44-SINDH07; Green Party) Youth Shadow Minister for Information, Mr. Owais Bin Laiq (YP45-SINDH08; Green Party) Former Youth Shadow Minister for Information; Member Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Information and Syed Arsalan Ahmad (YP42-SINDH05; Blue Party) Member Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Information, lost their lives alongside other passengers in an Airblue flight crash. The members were on board for Islamabad to attend the concluding session of Youth Parliament Pakistan.

In a Memorial Booklet, PILDAT pays tribute to the 6 martyred members of Youth Parliament Pakistan through putting together their profiles and parliamentary work during their tenure as members and office bearers of the Youth Parliament Pakistan.

On the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the crash, the PILDAT team, its board of directors and our alumni offer their thoughts and prayers to the families of the 6 members whose early demise and the void they left behind can never be expressed into words.
