Women in Public Service in Pakistan: Barriers and Recommendations is part of PILDAT’s broader efforts to support inclusive and representative governance in Pakistan
This report is intended to inform policymakers, state institutions, political parties, the public sector, civil society and media organizations about the formal and informal barriers that limit women’s entry and progression in public service careers. It also highlights interventions that can enable women’s meaningful participation and advancement in public life. By combining empirical insights with institutional analysis, this report seeks to move the conversation beyond symbolic inclusion and toward practical reforms.
