The Federal Government plans to present Federal Budget for the financial year 2020-2021 on June 12 in the National Assembly. As the National Assembly goes on a two-day recess before the start of general discussion on the budget, PILDAT is holding an Online Briefing on overview and key ingredients of the Federal Budget 2020-2021 on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 03:30 pm online via Zoom.

While every federal budget is crucial as it outlines budgetary priorities and allocations for the following year, Federal Budget 2020-2021 is especially critical due to the coronavirus pandemic and the resultant impact on economy. MPs and citizens would especially like to understand the Federal Government’s COVID-19 economic response package and how it plans to rescue and revive key sectors of economy.
