This Pak-Afghan Workshop, 3rd of its series, highligted areas where Parliaments of Pakistan and Afghanistan are lagging behind in making an effective foreign policy, what needs to be done to overcome these gaps and what should be the way forward to formulate such a foreign policy that leads peace, harmony and cooperation in this region in specific and in the world in general, were focal points of the discussion. Moreover the role of parliamentary committees in formulation, analysis and oversight of foreign policy was debated in the workshop.
