The Discussion Paper on Pakistani Diaspora in the West: Part of the Solution or Part of the Problem? has been prepared by PILDAT as a backgrounder for the interlocutors of the Dialogue Series on Relations between the Muslim World and the West. Foreign Legislators of Pakistani origin from a number of countries are scheduled to take part in the dialogues. The paper highlights some the major issues that define relations between Pakistani Diaspora settled in Western countries and the role they play in defining relations between the Muslim and Western worlds. Towards the end, the paper outlines a set of key questions on the issue that are propsed to be taken up during the course of the dialogue.
