The Study Tour of Pakistani Members of the National Assembly to India is undertaken by PILDAT (www.pildat.org.) so as to provide an opportunity to Pakistani MNAs to learn from and share best practices of the legislative and democratic tools that streamline Indian Parliamentary democracy. The study tour is to be undertaken from November 17-22, 2008.
Special thanks are due for the close cooperation extended by the Indian High Commission Islamabad and the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in facilitating the process of obtaining visas and of facilitating various official meetings of the delegation in India.
PILDAT also wishes to thanks all the individuals and institutions who have set aside valuable time for meeting and interaction with the delegation during the study tour.
