PILDAT, in association with Pakistan-Afghanistan Parliamentary Friendship Groups in the National Assembly and the Senate of Pakistan, facilitated the 11th Round of Pakistan-Afghanistan Parliamentarians’ Dialogue in Kabul on December 17-18, 2013. The purpose of the 11th Round of Dialogue was to bring together Afghan and Pakistani Parliamentarians to discuss a number of issues affecting the relationship. A delegation of twelve (12) Pakistan Parliamentarians, belonging to the National Assembly and Senate of Pakistan, had a detailed dialogue with their Afghan counterparts on the contentious issues impacting the relations of the two countries. This report presents an overview of the 11th round of the Dialogue. PILDAT conceptualized and the initiated the project of building and deepening Parliamentary ties and relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan in 2008. Six joint workshops of Pakistani and Afghanistan Parliamentarians were held by PILDAT in 2008, 2009 and mid 2011.
