A Briefing Session for the members of the Balochistan Assembly on the topic of “Effective Committee System” was held by PILDAT on 25th August, 2004 at Conference Hall, Balochistan Assembly – Quetta. Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Mr. Jamal Shah Kakar chaired the session.
Dr. Abul Hassan Najmee – Dean Faculty of Law University of Central Punjab – Lahore, Mr. Sajjad Naseer – Prof. of Political Science, Punjab University, Mr. Mujeeb Ur Rahman Shami – Editor-In-Chief, Daily Pakistan and Mr. Wazir Ahmed Jogezai, Former Deputy Speaker National Assembly spoke on the occasion.
The Briefing session was attended by 7 Members of the Balochistan Assembly. A Briefing Paper titled as “Committee System of the Provincial Assemblies of Pakistan” was especially developed by PILDAT for this occasion and was distributed among the participants.
All speeches were followed by an active Question/Answer session that provided a forum for debate and exchange of ideas between the speakers and the participating audience.
