PILDAT organized a Consultative Session on Child Health with Provincial Legislators, Parliamentarians from FATA and Members of the National Assembly Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination on September 27, 2013 in Islamabad. Members of the Provincial Assemblies of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan agreed to present resolutions in their Provincial Legislatures to ask their Governments to observe October 24 as Polio Awareness Day in all the Government and Private Schools of their respective Provinces. This report presents an overview of the Consultative Session.
