The deteriorating law and order situation in Baluchistan and the growing sense of deprivation in the province is seen by many as threatening the destabilization of the province. The need to respond to these challenges and redress the long standing grievances of the province has gained impetus due to the recent political developments in the province. Balochistan: Case and Demand a briefing paper by PILDAT, is a special presentation in the context of the felt need to highlight and address conflicting issues that strain relations between the provinces and the Federation and inter-provincial relations leading to conflict situation in the country. It aims to enhance the knowledge and awareness of the members of Parliament on the main grievance of Baluchistan province in order to develop a better understanding of conflicting positions.
