Lt. General (R) Moin Uddin Haider retired as Corpse Commander Lahore in 1997 after 37 years long illustrious military career. He is M.Sc war studies from Royal College of Defence Studies UK. He served as Governor Sindh from March 1997 to June 1999, and Federal Minister for Interior, Narcotics Control and Capital Administration from November 1999 to November 2002. He is Honorary Chairman of Fatimid Foundation for the last 25 years. He was awarded honorary doctorate by Sir Syed University in recognition of his services.
