The State of Democracy Report – First Year of Democracy presents an analysis of the state of democracy and the process of democratization during the first year of the Parliament since restoration of democracy. The Annual Report consists of six parts. The first part contains the introduction, which gives an over-all round-up of the entire year (November 16, 2002 to November 15, 2003). The second, third, fourth, and fifth parts contain the first second, third and fourth quarter reports, respectively. Part six contains the Conclusion. Tables and appendices provide further in-depth information about the first parliamentary year. The State of Democracy Report is authored by the renowned Defence and Political Analyst, Prof. Dr. Hasan-Askari Rizvi.
